TAZA Presents Solo Exhibition A Tale of Tomorrow: A Reflective Space on Stewardship, Choice, and the Processes It Preserves

Jakarta, 9 January 2026 — Indonesian modest fashion brand TAZA officially presents its solo exhibition titled A Tale of Tomorrow – Where Virtue Meets Responsibility, taking place from 9–15 January 2026. The exhibition invites the public to re-examine fashion not merely as a product, but as an amanah—a form of stewardship—reflecting the choices we make today, the processes we safeguard, and the impact they leave on the future. Held at D’Gallerie, A Tale of Tomorrow was officially opened by Yuke Sri Rahayu, Deputy for Creativity, Culture, and Design at the Ministry of Creative Economy, alongside Ashila Ramadhani, Founder of TAZA, and Afina Maharani, Co-Founder of TAZA.
In her opening remarks, Ashila Ramadhani, Founder of TAZA shared, “A Tale of Tomorrow is more than an exhibition. It is an invitation to pause, to reflect, and to understand the meaning behind every choice we make. This space was created to honor the journey that has brought TAZA to where it is today, to celebrate the hands and communities who have walked alongside us, and to imagine a future of modest fashion built on responsibility, sincerity, and purpose.”
Echoing this sentiment, Yuke Sri Rahayu expressed her appreciation, stating, “TAZA demonstrates that Indonesian local brands are capable of creating work with integrity. Spaces like this are important reminders that the creative process is not merely about responding to trends, but about shaping direction and values for the future. We hope this exhibition becomes both a source of inspiration and a meaningful contribution to the development of the fashion sub-sector and the strengthening of local Indonesian brands.”
A Tale of Tomorrow: A Journey Through Choice, Process, and the Future
A Tale of Tomorrow is built upon three core pillars: commitment, assurance, and comfort. These values are reflected in TAZA’s belief that clothing should offer room to breathe and move with ease. From the careful selection of materials to an intentional, sustainability-driven mindset, every decision represents TAZA’s commitment to a mindful creative process. These principles form the foundation of TAZA’s journey and are brought to life through the exhibition experience.

Each exhibition space is designed not merely as a visual display, but as a narrative journey. A Tale of Tomorrow unfolds across five main areas:
- Part I. The Shared Home: The opening space that reminds us the Earth is a shared home entrusted to humanity. Visitors are immersed in visuals and storytelling that reflect the relationship between people and nature.
- Part II. The Hands Behind: A space dedicated to honoring the many hands behind TAZA’s journey—from family to team—emphasizing that every creation is born from process, prayer, and togetherness.
- Part III. The Piece That Gets You: A presentation of TAZA’s collections as expressions of values, uniting aesthetics, comfort, and responsibility in wearable form.
- Part IV. You: A space that places TAZA’s community and loyal wearers at the heart of the brand’s journey—where each piece finds its meaning and continuity.
- Part V. The Ones to Come: The closing section invites visitors to look toward the future as the outcome of conscious choices preserved today.
Afina Maharani, Co-Founder of TAZA added, “We want visitors to truly feel the warmth behind TAZA’s journey. The experience we hope to leave is a sense of closeness, belonging, and shared growth. This exhibition reflects our ongoing commitment to creating modest fashion that is not only beautiful, but also responsible and sustainable.”
